2015 has definitely been the year that khaki green has become massive in fashion. While it mightn't be a shade for everyone, I've been absolutely loving it, not to mention buying way too many pieces in this colour! I found this khaki green midi dress in the Topshop January sales for £22, and while it is knee-length which a lot of people may find to be an awkward length, I love the look when paired with a skinny belt and knee high boots.
Midi dresses are usually my favourite for nights out or events as they really flatter my shape and height (I'm approx 5'9) while they look amazing with strappy heels. Having said that, they can be really tricky for day-time wear as they can sometimes 'drown' a lot of people and it's a trend that many girls tend to avoid if they're quite small. I've found that heeled knee high boots completely fix this issue for me and probably could help others, as long boots can elongate the legs, therefore making you appear taller and give your body an overall better shape to hold a midi dress perfectly!
The khaki green version of this dress is sold out at Topshop, but you can still buy the berry shade for £22 although sizes are limited!
