Current Favourite Skincare Products

I picked up this Clarins Liquid Bronze Self Tanner for face a few months back although it has only been this past few weeks that I've been using it everyday. Now that its summer, I prefer wearing a lighter coverage foundation or tinted moisturiser - my favourite right now is the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue and since I accidentally picked up a shade too light for my skin tone, having a natural bronzed face helps to create the perfect colour for me.

I apply this with a cotton pad, sweeping it all over my face and making sure to avoid eyebrows and my hairline so that it doesn't stick or cling to these areas. You can apply this both morning and night but I prefer to just apply it on mornings right after my moisturiser and before primer or foundation.

It gives a really natural looking bronze to the skin and never looks orange or streaky. The bottle lasts a long time also, as you really don't need a lot per application, however I must say if you want to maintain the bronzed look on your skin, you will have to reapply every other day at least as it does fade due to cleansing and exfoliating.

I actually decided to buy this product after reading amazing reviews online and due to the fact I really wanted to test out different products to see if any managed to clear up a few old scars on my face.. nothing significant, just a few marks on my cheeks from teenage years.

First of all, you literally need the smallest amount of product to cover an entire cheek. The bottle comes with a pipette and literally one drop is probably more than you will need! A little goes a long way so this stuff is going to last a long long time.

After using this product for a few weeks now, I can honestly say that it does a great job at improving the appearance of old acne scars and I feel as though it has helped the overall appearance of my skin and has made it look smoother.

I can't wait to see more results with this product as I will be continuing to use it over the next few months.

As my Origins Dr Weil moisturiser was coming to an end, I decided I would give this Clinique one a go. Over the years, I've heard some really negative reviews about Clinique skin care.. a lot of people had said that it is way too harsh and stripping. However, the reviews online sounded promising as there were so many people writing about how this Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel changed their oily skin.

My skin has always been oily and I had given up on finding a moisturiser that would help to control oil and make my skin somewhat manageable.. I just thought there was no product that would do that for me.. then I came across the reviews for this product and thought I would give it a go.

You can get this Dramatically Different Moisturiser in a lotion, which is best for dry skins, however I opted for the moisturising gel as it contains no oils therefore better for controlling oily skin.

I've only been using this product for about ten days now, but already I can see and feel a huge difference in the appearance of my skin both when I have makeup on and when I'm bare faced. Makeup stays on for longer and generally looks much better as its not half-way down my face by tea time. Plus, I feel that when I'm not wearing makeup, my skin looks healthier and more radiant. Its my new must-have moisturiser!

Have you tried any of these products?? I love hearing your thoughts in the comments below!...
