It's been a while since I've gone makeup shopping, so you can imagine my excitement when an email came through to my inbox this evening reminding me about an upcoming Brand Event in House of Fraser (from 29th April - 1st May 2015) which offers up to 30% off every department and 10% off selected beauty (which is the important bit really). Here are a few products I really want...
Benefit Roller Lash Mascara
With the amount of hype this product has received following it's launch in the UK, its hard to resist the urge to buy it! Having the most pathetic straight lashes, I still have not found a mascara that actually does what Roller Lash promises to do - that is, add curl and lift, so maybe it's time to give this one a go... Have any of you tried this mascara out? What's your opinions? Worth the hype?
Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner
This addition to the basket is one that may make it's way out and replaced by MAC Fluidline when I actually come to purchasing.. I'm still trying to decide between the two! Both have amazing reviews however I'm curious to try some Bobbi Brown eye products so I may have to give this one a go! Have any of you tried this? Better than MAC Fluidline?
Tom Ford Black Orchid Perfume
Another one that has made its way to the basket (but may make its way back out again due to the expensive price tag) is the Tom Ford Black Orchid perfume. Back in January I tried this perfume in a Space NK store and I've been sorry I didn't pick it up ever since. At first, it smells kind of masculine, its not a scent I can relate to any other fragrance I've tried. Its described as 'Black Truffle and Ylang along with fresh Bergamot and Black Currant'.. I'm rubbish with identifying different scents, but what I can tell you is that it smells unbelievable. I can definitely see it being my new 'signature' scent. Amazing.
MAC Velvet Teddy
I know everybody has this shade by this stage, but I had extreme difficulty trying to find this anywhere for a long time, due to the Kylie Jenner lip trend. (Its now back in stock on HOF website.. *happy dance*). With it being out of stock at my nearest MAC counter for months, the girl on the counter recommended 'Twig' to me. Although I love Twig, I still really want Velvet Teddy.
Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess
There's something about the packaging of this that is just so appealing, along with the fact it swatches beautifully and I'd imagine it would be a perfect bronzing shade for summer. Even the 'cool' shade would likely make for a great contour. I think I need it.. yep I definitely need it.
Bare Minerals Mineralixirs Eye Nourishing Balm
Lastly, I've added the new-ish eye balm from BM. Having tried a lot of BM skincare products before and really enjoyed them, I'm curious to try out the new 'Mineralixir' range - also, I'm in need of a new eye cream/balm. I've used the Origins Ginzing eye cream for a few years now so I'm curious to find something new, and this seems to be just what I'm looking for.
